DANI is an innovative proposal aimed at positively impacting people’s lives and enriching the field of robotics, prioritizing inclusion and highlighting individuals who have the inalienable right to enjoy an active life in society, both in our country and globally. This initiative was born from the analysis of the current scenario, in which minorities are underrepresented in the robotics market, raising questions about strategies to change this reality.
In this context, we reflected on the importance of providing opportunities for those who face challenges in achieving greater independence and active participation in society.
The proposal consists of integrating the use of LEGO, traditionally present in robotics, with LEGO Therapy. Through this approach, groups will be formed to focus on learning how to build LEGO robots and machines during activities. This initiative aims to support the development of motor skills, memory, and a variety of other competencies throughout the process.
